CommentsMiami, The follow through is the same as the fastball. The one knuckle when pushed out at the release point causes the ball to spin out sideways. It sometimes call this an off balance pitch because the strong index knuckle will change the axis of the ball at release. Some pitchers have trouble with this pitch, but most can get it down after a few weeks. At first the ball will shoot out the side of your hand and way off the plate. Just remember to push the index finger out hard at release and the ball should rotate sideways.
