AREA TEAMS PAGE
- Coaches, Pitch a Fit receives several calls a month from
parents, players, people moving in, and coaches looking for teams to
play on. Our corporate By-Laws clearly state we are not permitted
to recruit for any particular team. Our By-Laws do allow us to
offer this Area Tea web page as a place where you are permitted to place
an ad for free about your team. We will be glad to post your
team's ad, but only after you link our site to your team page.
TEAM BOARD - Pitch a Fit also has a TEAM BOARD at our center that
teams can also place an ad or announcement for free. The ad can
stay posted for 30 days on our board. Hundreds of fastpitch
players come into our center each month, so this is a great way to get
the word out about your team. Team's must post the announcement in
person.

The Virginia Crusaders Fast Pitch Softball Organization,

"The Hampton Roads Warriors are a new 12U
fastpitch team currently meeting in Chesapeake. We are actively looking
for experienced players however previous travel team experience is not
required. Our mission is to provide young ladies an opportunity to
participate in competitive softball while focusing on sportsmanship and
sharpening softball skills. We believe that game time experience is one
of the most valuable experiences for all players. We will be supported
by a combination of monthly dues and fundraisers. We will primarily
participate in local tournaments in the Hampton Roads area. Future plans
include a 14U team for our more senior players.

Southampton Storm Travel Softball is a
division of Stronger Woman Softball. Our main goal is to develop
the local talent and prepare them for high school and beyond. We
also wish to raise the expectation of competition and to ultimately
expose players to College Coaches and Scouts in order to help
players achieve their goals of playing at the college level. We will

The
Virginia Lady Eagles is one of the longest running fastpitch softball
clubs in Hampton Roads. Founded in 1989 we have sent nearly 100 young
ladies onto college softball careers. The mission of the Lady Eagles is
to encourage our players to be excellent young ladies both on and off
the field. We achieve this through the promotion of teamwork and
academic excellence.
The Eagles have four teams; 12U, 14U 16U and 18U. Our 12U and 14U
concentrate on fundamental softball skills. Our 16U program promotes
both the physical and mental aspects of the game. Our 18U program
showcases our young ladies to prospective college coaches. Continually,
the Eagles field very competitive teams.
Another important aspect of our philosophy is to engage managers who do
not currently have players on the team. High school coaches and past
players parents generally make up our coaching staffs. We are always
looking for independent coaches. We finance our operation with a very
successful bingo session. Typically, each family sends a parent to work
bingo just once a month. Generally, your only expense is a nominal
organizational fee.
Any prospective player is welcome to tryout for the Virginia Lady

Coach Chris Virginia Classics 16U |
Since 2005, the Virginia Classics have been competing in tournaments
throughout the region and internationally. We are a family-oriented
organization financed by parents, sponsors and fundraisers. The
Virginia Classics teams have always been competitive, winning
several tournament championships, including both state and regional
titles over the years. Our focus is on developing fundamentally
sound players that play the game with pride and distinction.
In
2010, the Virginia Classics are fielding a team in the 16U age

The mission of the Yorktown Revolution Girls Fast Pitch Softball
Club is to provide the finest possible competition and coaching in
the area to enable all girls to play amateur fast pitch softball in
a tournament level setting within an organization where every
individual athlete's talents are able to grow and improve.
Although, the organization strives for our players to excel in the
game of fast pitch softball, it also focuses on producing positive
role models and productive adults in their community.
The Yorktown Revolution has won State Championships at every age
category. We have earned World Series Runner’s Up at both the NSA
10U and USFA 18U level and have the honor of holding the 2008 12U
NSA Class B World Series Championship.
Skill can be learned…heart, desire, and
determination to succeed cannot. If you have these qualities and
want to play hard, please try out for the team. We are seeking
coachable girls of all ages with a burning desire to succeed and be
the best at what they do.
The organization is funded through monthly fees
determined by parents and managers; we receive donations through our
assistance with church bingo, and support fundraisers throughout the
season.

The Bay River Rumble organization was
designed for the purpose of providing fastpitch softball players an
opportunity to extend their playing season into the fall, by
providing them an environment in which they can experience dedicated

Galaxy Fastpitch
Softball consists of 10U through 23U teams. We have dedicated
experienced coaches and put an emphasis on player development and
retention. We have placed numerous players in college programs
throughout Virginia and North Carolina. These players return to help
train our teams and are still competing on the 23U level. Our teams
search out the most competitive tournaments and we play on a National
Level. The Galaxy teams have racked up State Championships and top five
finishes in Class A Nationals over the past two years. We have our own
indoor and outdoor facilities dedicated solely to Galaxy teams. Our
funding is a combination of player fees and minimal fundraising. Please
